Sasha Smith, a five-year real estate veteran, thrives on helping people achieve their financial goals through real estate. Her passion lies in educating and coaching to feel confident about their real estate transactions. As a tech guru or techanista, Sasha enjoys finding creative solutions and opportunities for her clients specific needs. She prides herself on having knowledge in multiple different areas of business to help people navigate crucial personal and business transactions. Her dedication to negotiation and achieving mutually beneficial deals reflects her commitment to her clients' success.
Sasha's background as a lifelong activist and community advocate has deeply influenced her approach to real estate. With a career starting in higher education and nonprofits focusing on women and gender issues, she naturally transitioned into a case worker role. Moving to Atlanta in 2006, she continued her advocacy at Emory University for seven years. After obtaining her MBA from the University of Maryland, she spent nine years as a tech consultant when a fellow tech enthusiast encouraged her to venture into real estate.
She started her brand Peachvalley under the auspice of real estate and tech growing immensely in the City of Atlanta when she returned from business school. Currently, Sasha serves as the Tech Specialist at the Office of Technology and Innovation for the Mayor’s Office in the City of Atlanta, and now gets to leverage her community and tech skills through real estate. Specializing in areas like FHA, Down Payment Assistance, Invest Atlanta, and luxury certifications, Sasha combines her tech expertise with her real estate acumen, as the industry has moved to benefiting families and businesses alike.
Sasha joined Engel & Völkers Atlanta, inspired by Christian Ross, a mentor and admired figure in her journey to becoming a realtor. Beyond her professional life, Sasha is a digital equity advocate, proud Canadian who is fluent in French, and active in volunteer work with various organizations including Blacks in Technology and the Atlanta Jamaican Association. Proud dog mom to a Maltipoo named Paris Rose Smith, she finds joy in educating people about the economy and housing market, emphasizing that real estate is a deeply personal business. Sasha's proudest achievement is earning her MBA, which profoundly shifted her perspective on life and work.
